1994 dodge caravan LE?
I was hooking up a (non) factory CD player in my van, I got the wire harness for it, and wired it up right, but when I turned the cd player on the left side and rear speaker did not work right, they sounded blown on the factory deck there is a flat metal ground wire on the back with a bolt and another metal clip on it, that a little black clip hooks onto. and without that attached to even the factory deck the same thing happenes with the speakers…I dont get how to hook that up and make all the speakers work, without that clip being connected how do i do this? I hope you guys understand my question, factory deck has a bolt holding the flat metal ground in the back of it, on the theres another metal clip that gets bolted with it.and thats where the little black clip slides over it. the wire is green and black….Help me out guys!!!!

the ground to the deck isnt the problem. either the speakers are shot or you have a bad connection(s) at the harness or the speaker itself.
ok the clip and strap need to hooked up to the back of the aftermarket deck
dodge used a chassis ground to the deck to complete the loop
on the back of the aftermarket deck should be a place to bolt it on you might need to use a washer if the strap hole is to big
