Boring? Lol, Ya, guilty as charged.
I guess the reason it pissed me off so much is that I took a lot of personal time to train this guy and get him up to speed, only to have him stab me in the back like that.
In a way you’re right, I DO get way too attached to the people I work with.
Touche~
*YAWN* – boring video, completely pointless and uninteresting. Why are you saying “it wasn’t me” when you have just stated the other person phoned the company to admit it? Maybe you have some sort of attraction and miss him as a workmate!
Interesting story and that guy was stupid to steal after the customer has specifically said he would be measuring the wire. It is stupid to steal from regular folks or small business anyway. There are the wrong target as the multinational corps are the ones who deserve it. They are far bigger criminals than anybody who steals from them could ever be.
John if you’ve watched this video you will see the hurt you have not only caused yourself and your family but your colleague too who feels guilty you lost your job. It’s because of people like you we lock our doors at night and mistrust people for the wrong reason
Its probaly either rocketfish pear or monster.
I think it is really low for the guy to steal the wire. First of all he is ripping off the customer and secondly because you told him in advance per the customers instructions not to mess with the wire. It was nice of you to leave the note and not run to the boss. Getting caught may be the best thing that could happen to John. Maybe he’ll realize that you don’t jeopardize your employment and reputation over 80′ of wire. If you want to be a thief stop being small time. Bush and Cheney still workn
LOL
that guy was a douchbag, who the fuck steals speaker wire, even if it is expensive its not yours, if he wanted it so bad he should have bought some. You NEver take ANYTHING that does not belong to you when your sapposed to be INSTALLING it what a selfish drunken asshole.
it doesnt matter if you have really nice insulated thick speaker wire that is expenive it is the guage if they were big speakers thicker wire
And BTW: You call getting hammered a reason to be suspicious in someone’s eyes? Lolololololol………….seriously, some just like to party hardy, and not all people who drink alot do so to cover stuff up ya know.
You can’t mention brand name items and stuff just because you’re a partner? Lol……I thought partners were made such by Youtube because the channel they created got alot of hits, and as such that Youtube would give them leeway/respect/etc in the form of a bit of revenue for little to nothing in return.
But really, that’s outright facism(almost), IMO. Hehe.
“how would someone not notice 80 ft. missing?”
Quite easily really, as boxes or rolls of wire mainly come in 500 or 1000 foot lengths, you can buy it from say a home depot by the foot, then you are paying out the butt…
I do all the same installations and have my own company, so if John didn’t get caught no one other than the home owner would have known, and this is the very reason I don’t deal with nickel and dime jobs like that, and let them install it themselves after we have finished.

yeah your right it isn’t too expensive but i fell you should get more for your buck, i never knew those other cables were so expensive
oh ok… $15 for 20 feet isn’t TOO bad i guess. I’ve never bought it in a roll, only the 10 foot or so cables with A/V plugs already on them… those are anywhere from $50 for one up to $100 and more for 3 in a pack.
the guitar/instrument monster cables are even more expensive
yeah at my bestbuy a 20 ft roll is 15 bucks, they are also hard to hide when your using them in a home theater
yeah, it also doesnt bend around corners very well, because of its thickness
they make good instrument cables for studio work… makes my guitar, bass, etc sound noticeably better. to me the biggest drawback is the price :/
i got some monster speaker wire, its so thick but it’s good and bad at the same time, the good part is the thickness creates a better sound, but the wire is so thick that it is hard to strip
I’m sorry, but John was a complete moron to try and steal that wire, how would someone not notice 80 ft. missing?!! And not just regular radio shack stuff, but premium stuff were talking about here, Sheesh!
Nice story!
I have these ridiculous rules that I have to live with since I’m a YouTube Partner and part of the Adsense Program, so I have to avoid talking about brand name items for fear that some “other” brand of that item will appear in the ad box on the page, it’s so stupid I know.
But ya, you are absolutely correct with what you said about that particular brand of speaker wire. te-he.
i’m guessing Monster Cable… it’s very rediculously expensive.. overrated? yyyeahh.. it IS good but over priced..
anyway thats my guess
Yeah, I know. And to think, it was just CANDY!!
You could be VERY honest, but when the opportunity presents itself, I think a lot of us can be led astray. Which is why putting in cameras is a good thing…..
Oh man, that is really shitty! All he had to do was just stop stealing, but he had to try to frame someone else. That is really low.
I understand when people get pissed when they are running a till and I arrive to put a camera up that covers that cash register, they immediately think that they are under suspicion.
Personally, I’d rather have a camera on a register that I share with other people because it keeps honest people honest.
Great story! I had a coworker stealing candy from my old school’s Food Service Department. We all had a meeting with the Director one day . She if she ever found out who stole the candy they’d be fired. This coworker tried to pin it on me by putting some stolen candy in my backpack. Unfortunately for him, he hadn’t know the Assistant Manager saw him do it.
Good times…good times….
Age and maturity rate can be misleading. I’ve had a 35 yr old who wants to farm. She’s immature for a female – teenage mentality emotionally. Some 20 yr olds could teach you and me to be better – he may learn, he may end up in jail too. I don’t think being young makes ya make stupid decisions, it takes stupid. anywho – hugs.
