It is more than likely to provide for various make n model cases? so tuck it away if not needed. My board has a plug on speaker, where another case has the speaker mounted in the chassis?
The Speaker Wire is to connect to your Motherboard and the Speaker that is built into the Computer Case.
If you have a speaker built into the Motherboard, then there really is no need for it. But if it doesn’t plug it in. Find the Manual for your Motherboard (Find it on the Manufacturers website) and it will tell you which set of pins to put it on.
